Keep them white
Zoom! teeth whitening can return your smile to a brilliant white in just one hour. The Zoom! technique is a professional grade whitening treatment offered at our office using a safe and effective whitening gel. This gel contains hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching agent.
Before the gel is applied, we add a protective shield to your gums to keep the gel confined in the proper area. This gel is applied multiple times, typically at 15-minute intervals, until we reach the ideal shade. During each interval, we use a special light to activate the gel for faster whitening.
After your whitening treatment is complete, we will advise you on any food and beverages you should avoid to maintain your new, brighter whites. Please note that some patients do experience some sensitivity for 12-24 hours after their appointment.
At-Home Teeth Whitening
For your convenience, we also offer a take-home teeth whitening system. The process involves taking an impression of your mouth in order to produce a set of custom bleaching trays. We will also provide you with a whitening gel optimized to your history of tooth and gum sensitivity.
To whiten your teeth, simply apply a small amount of gel to the trays and put the trays in your mouth. Depending on the strength of the gel, you will either be required to wear the trays overnight or wear them twice daily for 30 minutes.
