Innovations in replacement tooth design have come a long way. The denture designs of yesterday are a far cry from the naturally looking appliances of today. Loss of teeth may also result in the loss of support for your lips, cheeks and facial muscles; dentures will instantly renew the shape of your face and dramatically improve your smile.

We offer both partial and full dentures, with each apparatus custom-crafted to your unique physiology. When it’s time to fit your dentures, much depends on the type of dentures we have chosen and your specific needs. The process typically involves two or three visits to our clinic:

Impressions

We take a series of impressions of your jaw, and also document measurements regarding how your jaws relate to one another and the space in between.

Models

The first step towards realization is when we create a wax model denture that depicts the exact shape and position of your future dentures. This waxed model lets you see at an early stage if everything fits right, and ensures you’ll be completely satisfied with your new smile.

Casting

Once we have determined the desired fit, shape and colour of your dentures, we send the wax model and details to our lab for fabrication.

Adjusting

Your final denture is never final. During your fitting, we’ll make sure everything feels good and make any adjustments if needed. Ongoing adjustments may be necessary over time as your mouth adjusts to the new denture. Simply make an appointment and we will fine-tune your dentures to your full satisfaction.
